I'm aaaliiiivvee!
ffs. Having not drawn for a month really is a pain...this pic took a while to get going (longer than usual). But, again, I feel that I'm ready to hop back onto my usual routine now that I've gotten something in.
Not much to say about my artistic absense other than my training/job is cutting into my free time DX.
However that's no excuse for not drawing Amaya since last spring!
I figured it's past time for an update for her and the wardrobe.
I'm working on a few ideas regarding her aura; being able to take her abilities to manipulate water/ice and put them into alchemic form, allowing her to create and use multiple types of bombs (I've played Assassins Creed too much) for different occasions in addition to her regular ice forming talents.
I also have some big changes for her regarding her persona, but I'll save that for later ;3
Since only the armored poncho (I guess that's what it qualifies as) can be seen, obviously I'll want to show the dress change next time.
I know it's been a while, but lemme know what you think of the changes =3

I like the movement in her tail with those plates on it, and it's quite a cool costume. I feel like some of the clothing doesn't have as much mosvement and flow as it should though. Her legs look maybe too long, but it looks stylistic and intentional. I'm having some trouble with her arms though, like either some part of her hands should be showing or there should be evidence of her arms being folded under her poncho.
The shading is slightly awkward since she's done very minimalistically while the background is smudged and blended together. I think it would look better to have the whole thing in a single style.
